The food itself is probably fine, but the shipping was frustrating. My order just sat there for days with barely any updates, then showed up later than expected. I ended up having to buy other food in the meantime, which kind of defeats the purpose. Like, make it make sense. Not the worst experience ever, but they definitely need to work on delivery.

I was in a relieved mood when I saw the bowl empty again. My dog can be picky, but with this food, he actually eats it all every time.

Overall, the ingredients look solid to me. There’s a lot of real meat and it doesn’t seem packed with random fillers, which I appreciate. My dog liked the taste right away, and I did feel better giving this to him than some of the cheaper kibble options.
That said, I wish the sourcing details were easier to understand, and a couple of the formulas seemed a little too rich for his stomach. It also felt like every time I thought I had the right amount or flavor figured out, the goalposts moved and I had to tweak things again. For the price, I was hoping it would be more of a perfect fit. Good quality, just not quite amazing for us.

My dog ended up having loose stools after I switched to this food. I’m not totally sure if it was the food itself or if I maybe changed things over too quickly, so maybe that’s on me. Either way, it didn’t seem to sit well with him, and I probably won’t buy it again

I stopped in expecting a casual meal, the food was decent. Everything tasted good enough and I didn’t have any real complaints while I was eating. But when the bill came, I kind of paused for a second because it felt a little high for what I actually got. I left satisfied, just not totally convinced it was worth the price.

I switched my older dog over to Smack about a month ago, and reading between the lines, I think he’s a lot more comfortable. He’s not itching nearly as much, his poops are finally normal again, and he actually gets excited when it’s time to eat. It’s definitely more expensive than what we were feeding before, but so far, seeing the difference in him has made it feel worth it.
